The extraordinary football extravaganza kicks off. It is often referred to as a curtain raiser for the sport, but in the sports betting world, the feeling is like that of Christmas coming early. In most conversations, this would be labeled as gambling or relying on hope and luck, but here we operate differently and look at it differently as well. There is a famous quote that hope is just delayed disappointment, and in this world, if you have no strategy or a guaranteed rulebook you follow to beat the bookies, the house will always bet you. Come on a journey with me, a season-long journey for some sportsbetting adventure. They call it gambling. I call it Value investment. We search for value, analyse all probabilities, and stake on the chance that we get from the value. If you follow the data, data doesn't lie. You also have to feed in the probability or chance of exterior conditions affecting outcomes such as absence of key players, form, head-to-head matchups, playing conditions...

Lionel Messi put up an impressive display as Argentina turned their woes into redemption by beating Mexico 2-0 to put bold  their chance of qualifying to the knockout stages of the world cup. Mexico put up an impressive defensive display in the first 45 , limiting Argentina to only one shot on goal , which arose from a Lionel Messi freeckick off the right wing. It was a game of few chances as Mexico only had a shot on goal , testing Martinez only once from a freeckick as well by Vega. Things would however lighten up in the second half as Angel Di Maria's low cross found Messi outside the area , who connected beautifully on his left foot to bury his effort past Ochoa on 64 minutes to send Argentine fans wild. The game would open up and with Mexico in search of an equalizer , substitute Enzo Fernandez would bend one into the far corner off the left wing as he was teed up by Messi from a short corner situation. Argentina now place themselves in a likely position to qualify...

The red hot south Americans who were classified as top favourites to claim glory in Qatar alongside fellow South American rivals Argentina, who fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to Saudia Arabia on Tuesday, began with a shaky start before growing into the game.Serbia had their moments in the first half as they managed to beat off pressure from the Brazilians but they would unfortunately tumble in the second half as Richarlison would score into an empty net after Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic spilled a Vinicius Junior effort on 62 minutes. Vinicius would again prove influential driving into the area off the left wing before teeing up Richarlison for an exquisite acrobatic finish 11 minutes later. Brazilian flare and attacking threat highlited the second half as Alex Sandro would see his rocket of an effort kept out ...

The former Dortmund man rashed on to Anthony Elanga's cut back then floored James milner and Brazilian keeper Allison with some dazzling dancing feet movement before slotting home into an almost open net , where Dutch defender Virgil van Djik stood watch .
