UNITED RUN RIOT , ENDING GUNNERS PERFECT START TO THE SEASON

Aspiring perfectionists Arsenal had it rough in Manchester as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday evening . In what came as their first defeat of the new campaign, Mikel Arteta's men put on an impressive show away at Old Trafford seeing majority of the ball and enjoying a larger stint of possession. United would however find the breakthrough 10 minutes to the break through Brazilian new signing Anthony Santos who ran on to a Marcus Rashford through ball before opening up his body to slot a left footed shot into Ramsdale's far post bottom corner. United who were solid in defense went into the break with a slim 1 goal advantage which wouldn't last long as Bukayo Saka would hit one back for the visiting table toppers. It was another left footed shot that would draw matters level. Manchester United would however sermon a response via Rashford who was released to run by a defense splitting Bruno Fernandes through ball.it was just  a matter of time before Rashford added his second and United's third after an unselfish Eriksen squared off for Rashford to score one past a desperate Aron Ramsdale despite a sliding effort by Ben White to keep out the united number 10. Ten Hag would soon fill a defensive studded side bringing on club captain Harry Maguire who has not featured for the side since that 4-0 humiliation at Brentford and former Madrid man Casemiro.The result means that it gets tight and the top of the table , with Arsenal's 4 point advantage over defending champions Manchester city cut to just a point. City sit in second place on 14 points same as Spurs who are third owing to an inferior goal difference. Graham Potter's Brighton close the top 4 on 13 points following their 5-2 humiliation of Leicester City. Manchester united sit in fifth place on 12 points having lost their first 2 games of the campaign then winning 4 in a row. Chelsea close off the top 6 on 10 points , 1 ahead of Liverpool who sit in seventh place at the moment.

WORLD CUP MATCH DAY TWO KICKS OFF WITH MUCH AT STAKE .

The second matchday of the group stages kicks off with Wales against Iran in a group B encounter at the Ahmid Bin Ali Stadium in the city of Al-Rayyan.Wales come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw with the United States while Iran will look to bounce back from a humiliating 6-2 humbling by groou favourites England.The kickoff takes place at 13:00EAT ( 10:00GMT).If Wales win , they would put themselves in a possible scenario of qualifying but that wouldn't be guaranteed as they finish off their group phase against England's Three lions.  On the other hand the three lions clash with the USA who showed some promising football display on their opening night against fellow British Wales.This clash being the last action of the day takes place in Al Bayt Stadium in the city of Al Khor at 22:00EAT (19:00GMT).If England win this , they will be through to the knockout phase with a game to spare and will likely guarantee themselves top spot in the group. ...
